FAQs

What sizes do you carry?

We stock newborn through 5T. Every piece is clearly labeled by size so you can shop quickly.

How often do you add new items?

We add new arrivals weekly as donations are processed, so there’s always something fresh to shop.

Do you accept donations or buy kids’ clothes?

Yes! For accepted items, you can choose cash 💸, Kin Market credit 🛍, or direct the value to a local nonprofit 💛

What condition do you accept?

We look for excellent or like-new condition. Mild stains are okay, we work on them! Items don’t need to be freshly laundered; we handle cleaning.

How long does donation review take?

We review and process donations within 24–48 hours, then notify you about accepted items and your payout or credit.

Do you pay more for premium brands?

Yes, boutique and premium brands, or new-with-tags items, may earn a higher payout.

What items don’t you accept?

We don’t take heavily damaged or unsafe items. Otherwise, we welcome everyday clothes, outerwear, shoes, costumes, and more!

Do you offer delivery or shipping?

Yes! Free local delivery in the East Bay and affordable USPS shipping nationwide.

Can I schedule a pickup for donations?

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. If something isn’t right with your order, reach out right away so we can help.

What makes The Kin Market different from a thrift store?

Unlike traditional thrift shops, we hand-select every piece, clean it, and photograph it with care. You’ll only see items that meet our quality standards, making it easy to shop resale without the digging.

What is “curated kids’ resale”?

It means we carefully select only the best-quality kids’ clothing and gear, so you get a boutique-like shopping experience, but with the sustainability and affordability of resale.

Why is resale important?

Most kids’ clothes are worn only a few times before being outgrown. Resale keeps them in use longer, reducing waste and saving families money.
